INCA, full of contrasts and the neuralgic centre of the island, is the third largest borough of Mallorca. Famous for its leather, it is particularly renowned for the quality of the footwear, bags, accessories and clothing produced by many companies and craftsmen in the area. Some of the city’s most emblematic spots include the “Santa Maria la Major“ church and the square of the same name and also the City Hall square and the surrounding pedestrianized area. The weekly market, one of the largest on the island, takes place every Thursday and attracts thousands of visitors throughout the year. Enthusiasts of traditional Mallorcan cuisine will love the typical “Cellers“ located, generally, in the basements of the stately town houses in the city centre.
