Galeria Cafè Sóller

Situated in the lively main square of Sóller, this brasserie-style café is in a prime position for people-watching and soaking up the atmosphere of the quaint, authentic Mallorcan village. You can dine alfresco in the square itself, shaded by umbrellas and with the impressive Sant Bartomeu church behind, or sit inside at the wooden tables, where dark earth tones provide an elegant, informal ambience away from the crowds. The owners, Hamlet Ramírez and his wife Marguerite, are passionate about sustainability and this spirit is reflected in every aspect of this restaurant with its own bakery. Eighty-five per cent of their produce is locally sourced, and of this, approximately 50 per cent is organic, including their entire selection of Mallorcan wines. They use no preservatives of any kind and limit the use of plastics as much as possible. They also actively promote fair trade and do business predominantly with local suppliers to reduce their impact on the environment and support the local economy. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, it offers simple luxury with fresh, homemade food. Think classic tapas with some modern twists and international flavours, as well as quintessential favourites infused with the restaurant's own signature style.
